Hi all,

There are about 20 invalid objects in the database of MDSYS,CTXSYS schemas.. I think mdsys is related to Oracle Spatial and ctxsys is related to oracle text/intermedia. I dont know how to check if any of these options are used in the database to ignore these invalid objects? Can somebody help me?

Thanks.

If you don't use these components you can ignore these invalid objects.

Here is something equivalent to giving chicken soup to a dead man.
It can't hurt & just might help.
While logged in as SYS invoke
@$ORACLE_HOME/rdbms/admin/utlrp.sql
-- this should recompile any & all invalid packages in the DB

Oh is it? so there is no way I can find out if these options have been used in the database? Well, so I think I can just ignore these invalid objects whether or not they have been used..
